Media Kit: PSU's Langdon Woods Strikes LEED Gold

Plymouth State University in Plymouth, N.H. has received confirmation that its Langdon Woods residential hall has earned gold level LEED certification. Langdon Woods is the first building in New Hampshire, and one of the first and largest residence halls on any college campus in the country, to receive this certification. The LEED gold certification is just part of a comprehensive environmental program at PSU; University President Sara Jayne Steen has also signed the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment.

PSU is a green campus and has a history of championing initiatives—buildings, programs, and curriculum—that are environmentally conscience. This latest effort places Plymouth State University at the forefront of the environmental sustainability movement taking place on college and university campuses across the country.
